The hire will step into a collaborative, fast-paced environment with peers who are all focused on the success of the firm. The fund has had exceptional growth since launch and are now ready to expand their headcount. This role will be hands-on, working directly with the C-suite and taking ownership of fund accounting (including reviewing fees, corporate actions, managing the fund’s audit, delivering year-end financial statements, reviewing NAV, investor reporting etc) as well as having some corporate accounting duties. They are planning to scale the business and hence implementing relevant systems which this hire will support with. They operate a heavily outsourced model (for fund and corporate accounting), this hire will lead communication across fund admin, auditors, prime brokers, and other external parties. Their increased funding will in turn make the finance/account structure more complex and hence the role will be ever evolving and team growing.

We are seeking qualified accountants with in-house hedge fund experience in the Credit space or strong product knowledge within credit at a top bank. The ideal candidate will have strong academics and exceptional communication skills, a can-do attitude and demonstrate commitment to grow with the business.

This is a pivotal hire for the finance function of the hedge fund, as such they are prepared to renumerate generously. They will offer a competitive uplift in base and bonus in Year 1 could be 50%+.
