A sizeable, multi-billion dollar AUM, multi-strategy hedge fund are looking to hire a Deputy Head of Operations.
The fund has grown significantly over the past few years, achieving double digit performance regularly, launching new funds and diversifying their strategies. This “Number 2” role is broad, taking the lead on several major infrastructure development projects, mentoring junior members, managing prime broker relationships, being the point of escalation for the full operations / middle office processes (BAU would not form a part of your daily remit unless team members are out) & being the decision maker for any and all operations matters in the absence of the HOO.
Candidates should have 10yrs+ buy-side operations experience, ideally multi-asset experience, a strong grasp for technology and solid project management skills.
This is a crucial hire – my client are looking to pay a total compensation of circa £150k TC, albeit with upside for a strong performer / if the fund perform exceptionally well.
The firm offer employees the chance to WFH for 1 day per week, something that could become 2 days per week over time.
